Biography
Evin Lantz is an Independent Financial Planner, Fiduciary, and Private Wealth Manager operating his practice under the registered assumed name of Renovo Financial Partners.
As an independent practitioner, Evin is defined by his integrity. Maintaining high ethical standards is the backbone for developing trusted relationships with clients. Evin seeks to provide a high level of service and education to clients, with the ability to customize solutions to meet client needs and avoid high pressure sales tactics.
Prior to starting his independent practice, Evin spent three years as a financial advisor for another "brand name" financial institution. In that time, he saw how large institutions put restrictions on their advisors to protect the company bottom line, instead of putting the best interest of the client first. He knew, he could only truly do what was best for his clients if he was operating an independent practice. In 2015, he founded Renovo Financial Partners.
Evin has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College, Decorah, IA, where he studied management with emphasis in finance and entrepreneurship. He also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning, Centennial, CO.
When he is not in the office, Evin can often be found working on projects around his home, for his neighbors, or at Garten Marketplatz, his family's garden center and event venue. He also spends time in volunteer positions as a Board Member for the Center for Family Unity in Owatonna and with other non-profit organization.
Evin, his wife, Kiley, and son, Emmitt live in Southwest Rochester. They also have a dog, Phoebe, and two cats, Harriet & Toad. Kiley works for Mayo Clinic.
Christopher O. Fiske, Financial Planner
Biography
Chris is a fiduciary advisor and wealth manager. He joined Renovo Financial Partners in 2022 after coming to the same conclusion as Evin about the shortfalls of his former large "brand name" firm. Chris prioritizes trust and authenticity in his work with clients. He understands that all clients are unique and he specializes in creating customized solutions to help them reach their goals.
Chris has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bemidji State University, Bemidji, MN as well as a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Chris spent nearly two decades as a Lutheran pastor in rural Kiester, MN and Fairfield, IA. He is also a veteran and current member of the Iowa Army National Guard with 21 years of service, currently serving as a Supervisory Chaplain.
Through his work in the military and his membership in the American Legion, Chris is involved in teaching classes about veteran and military suicide awareness and prevention. He also works with Soldiers and veterans who struggle with PTSD and Moral Injury.
When he is not in the office, Chris can often be found brewing beer or searching for small-town breweries. He also enjoys playing ice hockey and watching hockey and soccer.
Chris and his wife Julie live in Owatonna. They have three children, Marshall, Harper, and Gerda, in various stages of leaving the nest, and a little dog named Ponyo. Julie is the Executive Director of the Growing Hope Foundation.
